Individual Membership
Individuals interested in joining the association can become members after meeting the following requirements:
Membership Terms
- Active Cooperation and collaboration with the association and its employees to achieve its objectives.
- Not committing any activity that might cause harm to the association.
- Commitment to the decisions of the General Assembly.
- The member is required to be Saudi.
- The member should be interested in the literature sector.
- The member must have enterd his eighteenth year.
- The member must be fully eligible and efficient according to the Islamic teachings.
- The member should not have been convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude or dishonesty, unless he has been rehabilitated.
- The member must be of good conduct.
- The member should have paid the minimum annual subscription.
Membership Benefits
- The right to attend and vote in the General Assembly.
- The right to receive basic information about the Association’s activities on a regular basis.
- The right to review the minutes and financial documents at the Association’s headquarters.
- The right to call the General Assembly to an extraordinary meeting in solidarity with 25% of the members entitled to attend the General Assembly.
- The right to authorize, in writing, a member to represent them in attending the General Assembly, in accordance with the provisions set forth in Article Twenty-One of the Executive Regulations of the Law of Civil Associations and Institutions.
Facility Membership
A member shall be considered a participant in the association if he submits an application for membership in the association and it appears that he does not meet any of the conditions for membership in the general assembly and a decision is issued by the board of directors to accept him as a participant member or he submits an application for membership as a participant.
Membership Terms
- • Paying an annual subscription to the association in the amount of (150) riyals.
- • Cooperate with the association and its members to achieve its goals.
- • Not to do anything that might harm the association.
- • Commitment to the decisions of the General Assembly.
Membership Benefits
- Participate in the association’s activities.
- Receive basic information about the association’s activities periodically every fiscal year.
- View the association’s documents and records.
- The participating member may address the association through any available means, and the Board of Directors or its authorized representative must provide the response through the same means or through the address registered in the membership register.
